Our London-based Loan Syndicate, Distribution and Agency team collaborates with loan origination teams within Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Shipping Finance and Corporate Loan Origination to meet the market needs of our corporate clients.
The team has over 80 years of London market experience and is the face of SEB to the European Loan Syndicated market. It has been an active member of the Loan Market Association and Loan Market Forum since the early 1990s.
The Loan Syndication team supports our loan origination activities by providing price, structure, distribution and execution advice direct to our clients. It is also responsible for underwriting advice and risk management. The team has highly developed contacts with all of the main Europe-based banks active in the syndicated loan market and has numerous contacts in the broader bank and institutional loan capital markets.
We have a specialist team that focuses on primary loan distribution deal management and execution, and managing secondary loan activity within SEB. Our Loan Agency team delivers after-closing support and administration of a large number of loan agency facilities, comprising of syndicates of between two and 30 banks.
