The world’s leading online financial community

If you’re a Trade Finance, Cash Management or Custody Services professional, The Benche is your essential online community.

The Benche was launched by SEB in November 2008 and we continue to support this important and growing resource. The Benche now has more than 6,500 registered members and attracts over 19,000 hits every month.

The platform provides valuable insight and information on new local, regional and international rules and regulations, daily news, webinars, country reports and analysis as well as experts' blogs.

Founded 2008 as a free service to trade finance professionals or other members active in international trade, SEB wanted to encourage sharing of knowledge and experience, open discussions and networking. The Benche has quickly established itself as an essential forum where professionals can meet to learn, share and discuss. The Benche was launched for Cash Management in March 2010 and for Custody Servcies in June 2010.

The Benche demonstrates SEB’s commitment to innovation, providing a resource that does not exist anywhere else.

Although SEB manages and actively promotes the web site, we take a strictly hands-off approach to content to encourage trade finance, cash management and custody services professionals everywhere, regardless of who they work for, to contribute and take ‘ownership’.

As a universal bank in northern Europe, SEB has a unique and natural customer base of large and smaller companies with interest in import and export.  We include part of our client support on the Benche by updating the FAQ and expert advice sections where you can receive expert answers to your questions.
