Our well established global Trainee Programme provides a unique opportunity for trainees to gain a real understanding of SEB and build invaluable networks for a future career.
SEB has operations in many countries and different financial areas, which means there are a wide variety of development opportunities within our company.
Our trainee programme consists of two distinct parts: a common component of various courses and an individually designed element.
Each trainee is assigned a “home department” during the traineeship. Working with a tutor, each trainee designs a tailored education programme that includes everything from product development to field trips and practical work at units in both the home division and other SEB divisions.
As well as a comprehensive introduction to SEB and its business operations, trainees learn about presentation technique, project management and negotiation techniques. All trainees will spend one month in an international internship during the year.
Who are we looking for?
As an SEB trainee, you will have graduated with a degree in business, engineering or the equivalent. You have either just graduated or worked for less than a year since graduation. Since SEB’s corporate language is English, you must be fluent in written and spoken English, as well as in the local language in the country of your trainee assignment.
Apart from these skills, we place great value on experience from overseas study or work, and we would like to see people from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds among our applicants.
It is important that you enjoy and are interested in meeting other people. Curiosity and drive are qualities that we value highly.
Additionally individual home departments may list varied skills, experiences and education that will be of interest and valuable for the specific position.
