Deputy General Manager in Shanghai
Originally from Nanjing, Juliette Xue Lascoux moved back to China a year ago to head up the corporate banking team in Shanghai, a dynamic city with a population of 17 million people. She is responsible for delivering both the customer relationship and product areas of the bank in this growing market for SEB.
She has worked for SEB for more than 15 years, including periods in Stockholm and Hong Kong, holding a range of positions within SEB with a particular focus on financial institutions and emerging markets country risks.
She graduated from Stockholm University with a degree in Business and Administration and holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“One of SEB’s major strengths, which distinguishes us from our competition, is our heritage and the emphasis we place on client relationships at the same time as we deliver product excellence. What has become apparent in recent years is that SEB is developing and evolving, maintaining a distinctive culture but at the same time becoming more dynamic,” she says.
Away from work, Juliette is mother to two young children meaning that spare time is dedicated to family activities, though she also enjoys travelling.
